This is an original press photo. Actors - A background of everything from herding sheep and digging peat in his native Ireland to logging and farming in New York, has given George Brent a solid basis on which to build his screen characterizations. The actor, currently co-starring with Jane Russell in RKO Radio's exciting Trucolor drama of the frontier, "Montana Belle," got his acting start in Dublin's famous Abbey Theatre. About that time he was also leading a dangerous private life as a dispatch-rider for the outlawed Irish Republican Army, and he finally had to quit both jobs and light out for America just one jump ahead of the British authorities.Photo measures 7.25 x 9.75inches.
