Description
Offered for sale is a beautiful antique blown mold glass pickle bottle manufactured during the mid 1800s. The bottle has a six-panel form with a ring around the base of the neck and an applied finish and concave base. The sides of the bottles have a cathedral pattern with 5 scallops across the bottom, and a three petal type flower at the top of the arch. The bottle stands about 13 1/4" tall and has a maximum diameter of about 5 1/2" across the base. The overall condition of the bottle is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, or damaged areas other than a single burst air bubble to the bottom of one panel that was done in the making. The color is very nice and the clarity appears wonderful with very minor dirt/residue on the inside that can be cleaned out. The glass has standard mold imperfections and light scratches to the exterior. Overall a nice piece!
