    Description

    An old example of a Royal Dux Newfoundland or St. Bernard dog figurine, model 10368/22 as impressed in the mold under the stomach. Beautifully decorated and detailed, the dog displays an alert, interested expression while in a relaxed standing pose. We will let breed fanciers decide whether this is a Newfoundland dog, a Saint Bernard, or perhaps even a Great Pyrenees. The figurine measures 6 1/2" tall by 8 1/2" long. Unmarked but for the impressed numbers, yet in the distinctive style of an early piece of Dux. A lovely piece! Please see our other auctions for more antique and vintage dog figurines.
