CALLIPARA FESTIVA f. LIZZAE
Patternful specimen
collected by local fishermen off Masirah island in 2020, dead as usual. Good apex, great colors, broken lip.
Its peculiarity is the
brown color of the background, exclusive and typical of the form Lizzae (Childs, R.Aiken & Bail, 2020). In reality there are no intermediate forms with the "normal" Callipara Festiva.
This shell is much rarer shell than the Lyria Leslieboschae
.
